Covercraft Car Covers was just another car cover-manufacturing company from California, but it has grown into one of the bigger industry players. Covercraft was founded in 1965 by Bob Lichtman. The company started as a 2-man operation concentrating on making custom-made car covers and no one had predicted its future career then.

However after 40 years of history, Covercraft Car Covers employs now over 400 employees and runs three factories. During its history Covercraft has gathered over 55 THOUSAND of different car cover patterns. Of course the company has enlarged its offer to cover other similar areas – seat covers, window heat shields and the like – but car covers remain its main products even today.

Customer reviews are critical

The good thing about Covercraft car covers is the fact that they receive unanimously good reviews. Though not 100% free of problems (and what car covers are perfect?), Covercraft car covers performs very well, partially thanks to the materials they are made of and partially thanks to the well-thought design.The covers do not stick to the car and provide complete protection against the moisture (all materials that are used to make their covers “breathe”), making them perfect to keep your car dry and in good shape.

The only problem with their Covercraft car covers is that fact that unless you order a custom-made car cover you shouldn't expect the cover to fit exactly to your car. Oftentimes they are either a bit too small or too big. (Obviously, too big is better than too small! :-)
